Poster Exhibition and Brochure Design

Gesichter und Geschichten means "faces and stories" in German, and it was the name of a poster exhibition aimed at highlighting the diverse immigration in the Wartburg District, Germany. It is a traveling exhibition that first took place at the district office in Bad Salzungen, a small town in former East Germany.

The poster exhibition was organised and promoted by Denk Bunt, the Thuringian State program for democracy, tolerance, diversity, and cosmopolitanism. For this project, they requested portraits of immigrants living in the area, a brief story of each on the poster, a brochure with full interviews, and the use of Denk Bunt’s colourful visual identity throughout the design. The interviews and portraits were taken by Sven Wagner, a local photographer and journalist.
